DAI Nepal manages a diverse portfolio of donor-funded projects across multiple regions and sectors. With over 300 staff and projects spanning renewable energy, disaster risk management, biodiversity conservation, and economic development, internal knowledge sharing was fragmented. The challenge was to create a reliable, engaging, and visually consistent platform to connect teams, share learning, and reinforce organizational identity.
Our approach
Our consultant designed and managed the DAI Nepal Quarterly Newsletter, a country-focused internal communication tool to consolidate project updates, highlight lessons learned, and amplify staff stories. The campaign combined professional storytelling with structured knowledge management to ensure relevance and accessibility for staff in Nepal, the Home Office, and regional leadership.

The newsletter strengthened internal communication, built shared understanding across projects, and reinforced DAI Nepal’s organizational identity. Staff gained easier access to project results, lessons learned, and peer experiences, supporting collaboration, motivation, and cohesion. The platform also enhanced visibility of DAI Nepal’s technical expertise and development impact within the wider DAI network, fostering a culture of learning and engagement.
Our lead consultant coordinated the development of the Freshwater Center of Excellence (FWCoE), a nationally owned knowledge platform housed at Tribhuvan University. The platform centralizes research, data, and learning products on freshwater biodiversity and climate change, supporting basin-level planning and long-term institutional sustainability beyond the USAID PAANI project.
Our lead consultant developed and implemented a comprehensive communication strategy for Nepal’s first national freshwater biodiversity initiative. The strategy empowered communities, translated research into actionable knowledge, and strengthened learning and coordination across local, basin, and national levels. Tailored media, community engagement, and capacity-building ensured lasting impact and institutional learning.
